    I ended up flipping the axle on my travel trailer. If I hadn't, I would have needed an 8" drop. Instead, the lift provided about a 4-5" lift and my hitch drop is only a 3" drop.

    This is actually the reason why I haven't pulled the trigger on an aftermarket bumper yet.

    Is flipping the axles possible on your boat trailer?
