Hey Connecticut, our backs hurt

Kiddo's spring travel soccer season starts today.

Practices Tuesdays and Thursdays for an hour and a half. Games on the weekends, but the first game isn't until the first weekend of April.

Let the hectic weeks begin.

 

Tell me about it. My son swims for a club team year round. 2 hr practices 6 days a week. Typically swims about 4 miles each practice. Swim meets 2x per month. Meets are usually 5-6 hrs long per day and run 2-3 consecutive days. Talk about a time suck.

 

Same trajectory on my end... loved RBR until Max, have been die-hard McLaren since (though Aston and Fernando have me cheering for them more than anyone else this year). Shit, my office is painted McLaren livery. This season stings.

There are many things I have to say about Max and how RBR acts regarding him that are not fit for typing out on the internet

 

Smell that? It smells like Spring.

 

CMC scheduled for 4/5. Yayyy! Still need to finalize the exhaust reroute, but need to prioritize this since I will need new tires sooner than later.

 

I’ll trade you, the candle for the drain and fill plugs.

 

I remember those days. My daughter played from Kindergarten until 8th grade, my son stopped in like 6th. I miss it sometimes but we spend a lot more time on the boat now.

Another warm day ,more spring yard cleanup today !

 

Nice! Did mine Saturday along with a thorough undercarriage flush. UPS says the rest of the parts for my lift will be here tonight and my wife leaves for a business trip Friday evening. Looks like this will be lift installation weekend (probably just need one day).

Talk about two completely different cars...

 

Like the stocker 68, but the owner of the 71 sunk some serious herb in that drivetrain and suspension. Must bark pretty good with that shorty exhaust.

 

Yeah, that 71 has some serious chassis work. I'd think that aftermarket steering rack makes for some nice feel

 

I like the 68 as a nice starting point for a build. I had a 69 in the early 90's I swapped a 454/TH400 into but still had the dog dish hubcaps on it. I miss the days where a car like this 68 was a $8000 car. With these prices it's no wonder kids aren't interested in classics anymore.
