You can manage them with TechStreem-ed… (misspelled on purpose) if you have that. It’s not complicated. A few tire shops even do it free. If you keep a text list, you can rotate easily. Just wish toyot made it easier for average joshuas..

Nope, doesn’t work. You just buy a spare of whatever version you need (steelie or alloy, the stem angle is the difference… to clear bead removal). You’ll have to manually rotate in the new ID so the current 4 are correct for sensing each time.

So how many people already invested in that mess thinking they would get something "free". Or shook the daylights out of the machine.

Why not just put all the pressure monitors in your spare,?

The ECU doesn't know where the monitors are, it just wants to know they are near and the pressure is normal.

Your rims don't care what valve stems are stuck in the wheel.

That’s true. However, when my tire was sheared on the highway without my knowledge… the TPMS notification and the onscreen let me know which one was rapidly deflating as I made it to a safe spot to stop. Essentially in under a mile/half-mile. I appreciate the TPMS system… not so fond of the “guess which one” systems though…

    Good morning everyone :hattip:

    Up since 2:30. I feel like @RustyGreen :D

Idiot neighbor claiming a ROW in my drive found an idiot attorney to write up a vague and uninformed response to what my attorney presented months ago.

This means a possible claim to my Title Insurance. Apparently, if they take it at this time (the question being if we’ve actually incurred a loss), they’d drive the bus & pick up all the court costs.

Fun stuff, not fun stuff. Lost yesterday evening combing through the Registry of Deeds tracing my property to the original owner. Kinda neat to do but it sucks under these circumstances.

I hope none of you have to go through this.

After waking up at 1:30, for no apparent reason, 2:30 is when I crawled back into bed.

Only to get up at 4:30 to snowblow.

    Gonna be a long day.

35 years old today, possibly the oldest I've ever been. Definitely the happiest I've been in a long, long time. I don't know it all but I'm trying to learn something every day. I appreciate all the random and sometimes useful information this thread brings to my life. Trimming the fat this year, if it doesnt bring purpose or joy, bye it goes.

    Have a good day all.

I try to follow the 1, 10, 100, 10000 mentality daily. I know it sounds weird but it goes as such:
As long as you accomplish one of these 4 things each day; learn 1 new bit of info, skill, task, whatever. Make 10 different people smile. Have 100 real human interactions good or bad, not over the phone or internet - but real face to face personal human interactions close enough to be able to shake hands (caveat, it could be the same person at different times throughout the day). Lastly, or take 10000 steps at a minimum.

Some of these are easier than others. That is my little mental game I play to try to change my perspective. So far it seems to be working. If you want to add in for 1000 would be to read that many words in a book (not an audio book). There's like anywhere from 250 - 350 words per page in a novel so it's not that difficult to pull that one off either.

Not quite the same problem but neighbors can be a royal pain!

It was over the fact water runs down hill in the woods .

This was after i disconnected a electric line running out of my shop within a few days of moving in . All the neighbors outside lights went out.

Lawyers being the only ones that really win in the end.

I had two sets for my truck with no issues swapping. The new TPMS sensors were cloned to mimic the oems.

I put mine in a PVC pipe and cemented an end cap on each side after drilling a hole for the valve stem so I could pressurize the TPMS so the truck thinks the tires are all properly inflated. Of course I did this because I was going to swap out summer and winter tires, then I ended up running the Falken Wildpeaks all the time.

Idiot neighbor, smart attorney. A protracted dispute means more billable hours. Hope you can sort it out in your favor.

    Happy Birthday! :hbd:

I hope you do something you enjoy today :):)

You are on the right track trimming things out of your space - you start realizing that things have sat in the same place for years, decades even, unused, untouched and just taking up space in your life.
