The rules we made up. And the early rules we made up. And the old rules. Well maybe some of the rules. And the tire rules. And those white lines you can't cross rules.

Well it's just a 6 part limited series. Not another movie. But yeh this was a great biography on his F1 career.

Him and Fangio and I started watching F1 in 1999 during the Schumacher domination years.

Is there anyway to watch the old races start to finish for each series?

If you're going to start tossing "if they hadn't been killed" people into the GOAT mix -- Jimmy Clark.

GOAT arguments are worthless because its entirely possible, even likely, that Fangio wouldn't have have what it takes to be that successful in Schumaker's F1 cars on those tracks and that Schumacher wouldn't have had the stuff to be that successful in Fangio's cars on those tracks. Same for Senna vs Hamilton or any other pairing. Really the only thing the eras have in common is the name.

I might be a crusty old fart but I think guys like Fangio, Andretti, Foyt, Clark and others are different from the more recent Sennas and Schuies. They drove every type of vehicle that would go fast and deliver a paycheck. They raced every chance they got. In those circumstances a small handful rose to prominence as being able to win in anything on any given day.
