I made a fairing from a cheap piece of plastic from TAPPlastics.com (I went to their Auburn Blvd. location) and some brackets from Ace or Home Depot. It looks like you can use the tracks in the bottom of the tent to mount it.

If you cut off the air flow from the front under the tent, you really increase the aerodynamics and reduce the noise.

I love the look of a white 4Runner with black wheels and tires.

Great idea! I’ll try it out. I agree with the looks. Your rig inspired me to pull the trigger and just get a 4Runner lol!

I was wondering why some folks were high beaming me. Totally forgot…but I’d say it’s the courteous and right thing to do yeah?

I get it all the time and for what it's worth, I get it when driving the Type R too. I think people are used to incandescents and LED is just brighter. Oh, both are stock headlights.

Agreed, LED is getting used to for sure. Works wonders on the trails at night for sure.

Any Tacoma brothers in the Walnut Creek - Concord area have a driveway I can borrow for a few hours at some point in the next few weeks? I'm in a condo complex and vehicle work is a no no. Couple Karens here listening for any wrench sounds. I have to do my front brakes. I have tools and cleaner, etc, even some cardboard so I don't leave traces.
