I just kinda stopped driving it sometime around Feb of last year. It still comes to work once in a while and it tows the trailer a few times a year. I need to work on it and it honestly gets the back burner a ton because it's just dead reliable. I've had steering joints and and link bushings on the shelf for it for nearly three years and some cooling system refresh things, plus a fresh engine harness. Maybe this summer while the truck is getting used I can refresh some of it.

Stress, and other shit I was doing to my body at the time that most definitely wasn't helping lol. But as life went on it went away, nowadays it might happen a few times a year and usually only if I'm really stressed out about something.

Anyone running a carrier bearing drop?

Mine is toast and I was looking at it the other day...the angle it's naturally resting at made me think I should drop it an inch or so

I did for awhile but it never solved the vibes I was getting, so I took it out and put axle shims in when I got my Alcans. That seemed to work better

Send me your haltech tune file when you've got a running example and we'll call it even. They're 3/4" pucks I think. Remind me later and I'll measure them for you.

I have shims in there right now that I got for free but I need to check and make sure I installed them the right way lol. I didn't realize until recently they're actually to correct the angle, not just help with leaf issues

I think the TRD headers sound good on it, I wasn't dropped on my head but I did get it shut in a car door when I was 3 so...close enough I guess

Flowmaster DBX is where it's at. Then combine with spooly noises.

I shall grab a sound byte when I do my startup (hopefully) this weekend!
