How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Seems like everyone are moving all dragon pros replies to peoples vine lately have not said 63 day hold

 

I sure hope things continue to move along quickly. I am trying to sell my current truck privately because the dealer low balled me. Hoping I don't end up going months without my truck

What’s your spec and where’s it going seems stuck at the same spot and time as mine

 

My advice would be to hold onto the old truck until the new one arrives. They could slap you with a long hold at any time!

 

Picked her up this morning in Elizabeth City and drove her 50 miles or so home to Virginia Beach. I'm in love with a truck. I'm AMAZED at how quiet this thing is. SOLID. Got 25.8 MPG coming home if you can believe the computer. I'll manually calculate when I fill up.

I looked for panel gaps, the rear fender lower on one side (this has been mentioned by youtubers) and gave it an extensive test drive. No driveline vibration. The transmission likes to shift, yes. But it's smooth and once you drive it you can figure out it's programmed for economy because it likes to get shifting to the next gear quickly. Step on the gas a little and it quickly upshifts. I don't find it annoying at all.
Overall, I'm simply extremely happy today with this purchase. This truck just exudes QUALITY. I test drove a Nissan and Colorado. I liked both, but neither felt as solid and the steering in the Taco is far superior to both. I love it.

*** I DID NOT buy an extended warranty because what they were offering was absolutely RIDICULOUS. All of their policies were for electronics and they were expensive. None even addressed extending the warranty on the drive train. I'll go direct to the guy mentioned on this forum and get the 10 year 125K mile policy for MUCH LESS than what I was offered today.

I have premium and tech package to. wonder if they are waiting for some parts. Is chip shortage still a thing these days?? And I’m in pa so prob close to same transit route yours was the same build day as mine

 

Mine is premium too, but it was listed as “built” for two and half weeks before it went on hold. I assumed that meant it was completely built. But maybe it is missing parts?

 

How long did you have to search for that? I really wanted a manual OR with premium package but it was impossible to find.

 

I got kinda lucky at my dealership. They were able to swap allocations and secure me this one. Didnt have to wait long to find this one but now I'm waiting forever to get it haha

 

Same here. My build date is today. So trying to figure out when to advertise my 2006 Taco.

 

Well it seems like trucks built in late Feb and March didnt get caught in the same QC hold so you are probably fine. Be sure to use the toyota-tracker.com if you havent already
