Having a sticky wouldn't help with that. They'd only find it by searching and they obviously don't do that.

TBH the people who don't research on their own deserve the RC block kit they ultimately buy

That project has been going on for a while, including that one guy that talked about going with uniballs on the lower for over 2 years.

He's already selling them anyway, but not as many people are actually buying into them as much as say, some Bilstein coilovers.

Kind of a niche item like a rear drawer system or something.

Well yes but... would you rather have a Wikipedia or a Google when researching a very specific topic?

I pitched the idea of a Tacoma wiki about a year ago, maybe two... search this thread to find out when haha. No one liked that, so I stopped.

can't vouch for the 5vz, but the 2rz still holds its length with sound imo.

Had a biker give me the two finger wave down when i blew by the other day. rare for an older guy to like the sound of 4 cyl

Hey I'd 100% support that. Sometimes you gotta "Build it and they will come."

I never got a lot of interest in my 5VZ forged rods either (had a supplier in China ready to make them) but I'm sure they would have been a good alternative to the Pauters out there

Camry crank with forged rods would be a nice combo, need some budget forged pistons and then someone needs to make the top end more affordable to cross the 7k rpm barrier with.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I thought it would've been Jaxon to take my words out of context.

Hey, I'll make whatever someone needs! Plus side is, if I'm making it, I'll have said drawing/design forever in case anyone else needs it down the road.

I just don't have a 1st Gen near me to measure for anything.

Basically every performance part for these engines needs to become more affordable.
It's a shame because they're everywhere so the volume could be there, but they're not in little sporty cars so the only tuners using them are niche and throw them in MR2s and such. Vicious cycle of "won't do it because it's too expensive, but people won't buy it so it's expensive"

I might need a little magnetic cover for my hood vent for when it rains and it's sitting outside

Draw them up on cardboard, take a pic with dimensions, and I'll whip them up in a jiffy.

I'm about to cut this bracket I drew up just now; it'll be used as a rest for my welding bottle and the slots are for the chain that'll hold it to my welding cart.

    Screenshot 2023-03-22 125130.jpg

Since I don't have a press brake (yet), I'm going to just weld small bit of flat stock perpendicular to the ends there as a 'catch'.

    Dimensions!

I can cut it up today; with the exception of a quick grocery run I'll be cutting some stuff for myself today.

K, I'll try to remember later.

If you wanna put your logo or site on the top layer or something that's cool too as long as it's tasteful
