Jeez...you do realize that the ads you get there are tailored to your web history/google searches, etc right?

I totally get that, but it sure makes the ads for adult diapers seem weird to me. At least for now.

What they forget to mention is that other trucks did not have this issue because they were not able to get to high mileage

Well and 90s and early 2000s Honda civics, indestructible machines. I had one and you could not kill it.

I killed my '89 Civic at just shy over 199,000 miles.

I also did not do any proper maintenance of said Civic. 30,000 mile Jiffy Lube oil changes, etc, etc. Shame on younger me.

    No, actually shame on me…

I was 19-20 and drove like a complete asshole racing everyone. Redlined that baby multiple times a day everyday. I’m sure the mileage was rolled back because the digits did not line up, who knows how many miles that thing had.

Was a 1990 civic sI. Everything manual, no power steering but power sunroof!

My teenage car was a 81 Celica Supra like the one pictured. It was a "performance package" car, not that it was fast really. it was a inline 6 rated at 116hp, 5 speed. I beat the hell out of that car and it took everything I gave it. I had to eventually drive it to the junk yard.

Can't afford it after I ordered the RC parking lot playset, with 1/10 scale light poles and JC Penney storefront.

On another (non truck) forum a guy got mad at me and typed an ALL CAPS reply when I suggested that Dodge trucks since the 1980s had horrible reliability. I think he used about 75 exclamation points. OTOH, I got about five up votes.

Then I mentioned that the current Ram vans were imported FIATs. He hasn't replied to that yet.

From my outside observations Ram trucks look nice, have nice features, a competitive price point, but typical Dodge reliability.
