    Yup...I'm sick. Don't know how or what. Haven't been out of the house since Saturday and then it was only to the fabric stores. Lots of nose and chest congestion and cough. No fever yet. Don't have any COVID tests so waiting for the pharmacy to open and see if I can't get some at the drive thru. Until then, back to work.

    I've had chronic back pain since my spinal injury in 2007. It has gotten steadily worse over the years. Aleve is the only thing I have tried that seems to have any effect at all, and even then, it is just enough to take the sharp spikes off the pain at its worst.

    I tried looking into any possible permanent relief after we moved to KY last summer. Got a new primary doctor, she tried to send me for MRI scans to see if the cause can be diagnosed, but my shoulders hit the sides of the tube and I don't fit. Am going to ask if there are any pain management specialists in this part of the country that maybe I can consult with. Getting tired of the aches and pains. Don't really like the prospect of another 30+ years of the same. I should buy stock in the company that makes Aleve......:annoyed:

    Well, after graduating from college I worked as an engineer/research analyst for the US Army Research Laboratory for 33+ years! A lot of computer simulation and actual testing on Army vehicles ... retired at the end of '21!
