    Hello All

Just lifted my taco with the TRD lift and paired it with bigger tires, 265/70/18. After driving a bit with an alignment, whenever I go 45mph+, the wheel begins to wobble. Put it back on the alignment machine and everything is still in spec. I also can't seem to find a steering dampener due to the fact that the stock steering is rack and pinion. If anyone else had experienced this, please let me know of any solutions you may have found. Thank you.

try swaping your front and rear tires to see if it goes away for the most part, could be a bad tire

balance the tires better. Not an alignment issue.

Tacomas are VERY sensitive when it comes to wheel balance.

Did you have the new tires road force balanced? Only way I could get my Falken wildpeaks to balance was to have the dealer do it with their road force machine.

I did not, is that what fixed your balancing problem?

+2 for road force. I have a Falken AT on another vehicle that just wouldn't balance right but road force made it better - even though it still shook above 65mph. Last week, out of curiosity, I had 6oz of ceramic balance beads I use in motorcycle tires/wheels laying around, I added them to that single tire/wheel and the shaking is all but gone. It's a last resort but may work for you. The downside to balance beads is that they can get in the valve core and cause a slow leak. It's easy to clear it by venting some pressure but it's something to think about. Inflating/deflating with the valve stem at 12 o'clock helps. They have some screened valve cores but they haven't proven to be 100% reliable either.

Road force was the only thing that got mine balanced after the first shop couldn't get it done.
