I dunno, a double cab auto 3rz would never be able to keep up in a road rage dispute

Looks like a fun flick, but yesterday on my way home I saw nearly the same thing happen on i-90 in Spokane Valley, a white FJ cruiser drive just snapped and tried to take out a Durango driver at 70 mph, just straight driving into him. Durango almost lost control dodging (pun not intended)

Thanks now I'm picturing a Toyota parts department with a vending machine filled with shims in little capsules

yeah I *try* not to let people piss me off the road anymore because you never know who's gonna snap and go off the handle.

had some lady a few days ago pull right out in front of me from a side street, completely ignoring her stop sign like it wasn't there. If I hadn't swerved into the oncoming lane she would have t-boned my front end. Not gonna lie, she knew how pissed I was after that but I wouldn't go following anyone or blowing red lights to chase somebody down.

nothing pisses me off more though than people that blow stop signs (I don't mean rolling stops, I mean like they aren't there). I dunno why it just really gets under my skin.

Lmao sometimes I see marketplace ads for non-running cars and they say “bring a trailer!” in the title or description and it throws me off.

People like to make swords out of old leaf springs. Apparently there is demand for them.

Called the dealer again and they weren’t actually on backorder. Which is really cool of them... He’s sending them out today. Should be here by this weekend.

When I lived near ASU somebody did that to me. I didn't have a horn at the time so I let it be known other ways I wasn't happy lol. Dude finally thought he'd try to be clever and stall a left hand arrow until it was red to lose me but by that time I had gotten my point across.

Mine is running red on left turns or those that enter an intersection but can't clear it cuz traffic is backed up, which causes twice as much traffic to be stuck waiting for them to move. The left turn one is one s deal with every day. I need to turn left to get to my house and the signal order has those from my right turning left across me. My light goes green and I'm still have to wait for the idiots to finish their turn so I can move. People are so focused on saving a couple seconds at the expense of everyone else around them. Kills me.

Yeah it really is ridiculous, especially when you see those same people stuck at the same light as you after they went to all that trouble being a dick for no gain whatsoever. Like calm TF down, you'll get there eventually

I think its so much worse after covid, everyone got used to their commutes being so much faster and now things are back to how they were before and they can't accept it.

I think the stop sign thing with me has a lot to do with being a pedestrian too, people just can't be bothered to stop for 5 seconds to let someone cross the street so they blow the signs. Have nearly been hit a few times in our neighborhood thanks to that.

The city is finally putting a 4 way stop in down the street from us, been a 2 way stop for a long time but there's a lot of foot traffic across there and it gets sketchy. I can't wait to see how many people ignore the new 4 way. Hopefully they put a traffic cop there for awhile to monitor it.

Can anyone confirm I’ll need both the upper and lower intake gaskets when replacing the knock sensors on a 5VZ, or just the upper? Thanks.

"need" isn't the word I'd use for the uppers, but you can replace them

oh and my other stop sign beef, people who don't know how right-of-way works. The person who stopped before you, has the right of way. You stop at the same time as someone else, the person to your right goes first. It's not an automatic fucking game of chicken

I might just go get a length of Gates hose from a parts store; do you know what type/size I’d primarily need?

There was a thread on here regarding a silicone kit that has all the right hoses and sizes for the 3.4l, it was a pretty big thread shouldn't be hard to find

I've become what appears to be passive in many of these scenarios. You don't know who's gonna go off and who's not and in today's world they might choose to brandish that gun they are carrying in their glovebox.
