I would be more concerned about the possibility of needing new upper control arms than brake lines (that you should extend). If you go through the effort to do this yourself and they can't align it to specs then you will need upper control arms or risk eating tires. I wouldn't want to do all that work and not be happy with the ride quality or possible tire wear. I would put that money away for, at minimum, Bilstein adj 5100's, a take-off new set of 3rd gen coils, maybe a 1/4" top spacer to not max out the 5100 adjustment, and possibly a block lift in the rear with better shocks (leaf kit is better). You can piece something together that will ride better economically without needing upc's. FWIW that lift will make you truck "look" good but probably won't make your truck "ride" good.

Finally got 35s mounted on my old Pacer 16x10s. Flares trimmed 1.75 inches. I think it turned out pretty clean.

Im still stock geared. I only lost 1mpg overall with the auto. I notice the weight slightly but it’s like driving my work truck 2000 gmc sierra 4.8 with a 4l60. It’s not the end of the world :D

Looks really good. I’d like to get 35’s, but it’s such a commitment to trim and regear!

I really like the aesthetic of this truck, functional and not over the top  Are your fenders trimmed cuz the flares look narrower than stock. If so the cutting was really clean!

trimming is the easy part. Regear I thought was mandatory till I started driving around. Now if the rear end goes out I’ll probably go with 4.30s but until then I’m content with how it drives.

I cut more than I had to on the fenders (see attached pic). That way before trimming the flares I could see what was needed to be done.

Yeah, for the money you really can't beat the basic Clazzios. I've run them before in a previous car and really liked them. Only changed them out in that one when I redid the interior in a chocolate brown. That was a full upholstery replacement as Clazzio didn't make covers in the color I wanted.

When I bought the leathers in 2016 they were only $274 for the front pair. Now those are on sale for $360. PVC are still $234 on sale. I talked to a local car upholstery shop when I was searching for my 2016. I gave them 3 brands for comparison. Naturally the Katzkin was their choice however they said Clazzio was just as durable as the Wet Okole and perforated would be comfortable all year. They had seen where the Wet Okole had caused excessive cloth seat wear over time on new seats. Some had complained about summer heat. Since these were for a new truck I took a chance. Being black they never got hot and the new seats underneath looked like new after 5.5 years. We had horrible luck with expensive CoverKing neosupreme covers in another car. Those were over $500 and slipped around and snapped the anchors within 6 months. Those looked like factory when I installed them with tight fits but fit more like HEFTY trash bags within a year. I recently bought a $240 full Amazon set for kids new RAV4. Those were a nice tight fit with nice fastening materials. Waiting to see how they hold up. I think now there is more quality and price competition to Clazzio. Have seen some nice seat covers in these forums from several manufacturers. Got to protect that investment.
