Also made the mistake of driving for a few with windows down because the weather was so nice. Paying for that one.

 

My allergies get real bad out here in the spring but we rarely get that level of pollen where you can see it collecting on stuff like that. I can't imagine how bad my allergies would be there.

 

Mine have been getting worse the older I get too, so each new season is a fun surprise. But the last few years when the pollen first goes crazy, it's been really bad and hangs around too long. It hasn't peaked yet either. Fun!

 

yeah mine have kinda shifted from being mostly my sinuses to being my eyes and skin, when I was a kid my sinuses would get super bad and I'd get sinus infections constantly during allergy season. I would have to pop Claritin daily, back when it was only available as prescription. Not so much anymore but its my eyes that get all fucked up now

I lean toward sinuses. Now it's like I know Spring is coming when I get the first infection haha. Oddly seems like my ear is always the worst. But its all connected, so its a party

 

I'm not convinced it sounds good still. I am convinced I'm going to be putting a lot of mufflers on mine because even with the turbo I don't want to hear that fucking engine.

 

Maybe if you make the exhaust tall enough it'll be someone elses problem

 

I guess I just never expected the 5VZ to sound good (but also not to hate it) so I never got too bothered about it. Plus it's pretty loud inside too. I just wanted the reliability. If I went down a rabbit hole trying to make it sound nice, I don't know how that would go. I'd probably get annoyed trying.

 

The only way to make it sound good is to make the headers equal length that puts your pulses in order and makes it sound more like an exotic. But there isn't enough room to do that. So instead you get that V6 droning fart noise that everybody on here loves for some reason. I know I can't make it sound good so I'm going to make it quiet

What's funny is the handle bar grips are half of my total investment in this thing

The other half are two of the casters, the other two I got free, and the steel is all left over from previous jobs so the steel is all paid for.

 

This was a few summers back on the north side of Tahoe. It gets bad for a few weeks. You pray for a thunderstorm.

 

The fun really starts when you get a skin allergy.
