You know the equipment is obsolete when... I went into my tv/phone/internet provider office to let the rep know that I'd purchased my own modem/router that was much faster, so they could cancel the monthly rental charge, which you know had more than paid for the equipment. She said, "There's a lot they won't tell you." Oh, I need to ask for a phone adapter... "Just use the old one."
Obviously, that was obsolete for internet...

 

I was going to upgrade to 300mb but it would cost me $4 more and lose 100 channels.
I’ll stick to what I have.

Husband sold his Tenere, kid and his buddy came to get it last night. It was new basically, 39 miles on the odo, got tipped over in the back of the truck and damaged both the truck and the bike before they left the driveway.

 

How bad was the damage to the bike?

 

Oof... you hate to see that happen.

 

Well the buddy that got bowled over and knocked out of the bed of the truck took the brunt but it hit every single panel on the left side. Not only hit, but hit then slid down it. Its an ADV bike that’ll get offroaded but still sucks.

 

Ah, so only cosmetic? It'd really suck to bend the shift or rear brake levers or snap the hand levers.

 

As far as we saw, yup. Just the principle of it, brand new and immediately damaged.
