    Bit of a weird question...

I just got a 2023 Tacoma TRD Sport and I want to put AT tires on it. My original plan was to wear down the factory tires first and replace them after that. My wife's 2021 Nissan Rogue SV needs new tires though... Could my stock tires fit on her car and then I just get new tires for my truck? I know the stock tires for the rogue are P235/60R18 and the stock Tacoma size is P265/65R17. I have never really looked for tires or hanging the tire size on a vehicle. They dont look that different when the cars are parked next to each other and the difference in OD is about 3 inches. It looks like it will fit fine in the wheel well, I am just concerned if the offset will cause any problems or if the tires will rub the wheel well when turning all the way.

If one is R18 and the other is R17, no.

I am swapping the rims as well. Like full tire swap, not just the tread.

The tires should only be 1.4” difference in OD. If you’re swapping the Nissan to 17’s, then it may work. I’d ask on nissan forums what size they can fit.

What rims will you use on the Nissan? The additional width of the 265 combined with whatever rim you use may pose a problem. It all depends on the specifics of the rim (and how that relates to what a Rogue can typically fit).

I bet the rims don’t have the same lug pattern or center bore

Couldnt really find a good answer about it. And I think my OPD is different because her tires are pretty down to the wear studs and mine are brand new.

Also TPMS mount not work, I doubt lug and hub dimensions are the same.

This thread is mind boggling. I say send it. Who cares about lug patterns anyways.

Can always get an adapter to go from 6 to 5 lugs. But yes, this thread is mind boggling.

    That is exactly right!

Just head down to Costco and buy your bride some new tires.

Yeah, I think I'd rather my wife have good new tires before myself.

Trade in the Rogue for a Frontier because you're married you don't need the scoop. Trade in the Tacoma for either a Rav4 or Highlander because resale value. If you do this right you will come out a few dollars ahead, and you can by your wife a new pair of shoes.
