My OE wipers worked well for over 3 years, next set is fine at well over a year, the price is right, and yeah I’ll stick w OE for the filters I’m buying on my trip there, it’s not worth it for me to make another stop to save a buck.

Paint chips and the paper from straws.

Oh no, the youth of today won’t be able to eat the paper from straws as everything goes green.

Yea this AZ heat certainly destroys them quickly, none of them would last longer than a year on my Wranglers even when parked in a garage at work/home or treated with 303. Luckily, the Tacoma stock blades lasted over 3 years for me which is why i opted for them again

Then it rains and the store is sold out of wiper blades and trash bins overflowing with the packaging.

Just figured this out last year- Switch getting new blades in spring or summer to just before the start of the rainy season in your area- they’ll be fresher for when you need them instead of just cooking on the windshield when you least need them during the summer. Or at least buy them and store them till then before installing them…

You can make beef jerky in a closed car in AZ during June. When living back east I thought that only gangbangers and limousine companies used window tint. In AZ it was added to my Corolla within 2 months and is all but unavoidable when buying a new car.

And monsoon is pretty much the only time of the year you need wipers in AZ. Even winter rains are usually too sporadic to matter.

I dumped factory blades and bought a set of Trico ceramic blades. Expensive, but they work great.

Honestly, I prefer the oem inserts for a few years.

All wipers are hit and miss depending on region, but 5$ inserts for fairly good wipers is a win.

It's also better for the environment, fuck the stupid packaging for wipers.

I bought a set of Ran-X once, did not care for them. They were ok if it was above 50 but below that and they just didn't wipe well

I put the Bosch on my truck 2 years ago because they worked great on my F150. They sucked on this truck, was thinking they changed something about the rubber?? Just replaced them last week with Michelins. See what happens but so far so good

Legitimately laughed out loud reading this, thanks! There’s some funny people in this forum. Some people won’t get the humor, but I appreciate it.
