I think you can get those tabs off with a grinder. Looks like there’s plenty of room if you take the upper arm too. Make some new tabs and you’re good to go. Seems pretty easy compared to half the stuff you’ve already done to your truck.

If anyone is following this and tries to go down the same route, here is some more info.

So off the shelf this shaft/rod end is too long. King also makes a 1” shorter version for the same price. I just guessed and said it was 3/4” different (I’m hoping it’s really and inch). If you want a custom shaft length it’s 2x the price per shaft.

Dude I wish…. We’re in the part of the year where it melts a little, then dumps and repeat until one day it finally stops. Been averaging low 30’s for the last week.

Arizona is great. Well, Phoenix atleast. Wheeling weather year round, want some snow you can always head up north for the day.

Wheeling weather year round doesn’t mean shit when your truck has been sitting in the driveway for 6 months like mine…

Damn, I wish I cared that much :rofl:my poor taco has been through hell in the garage. Lucky I haven’t broken any windows. She’s a turd though, so no need to try to protect her from more turdiness.

I can safely say since I’ve owned it new in 09 it’s never been waxed and for at least the last four years only been hosed off and never through a car wash haha I live in the sticks though, so what’s the point. I did do some body work the other day. Popped this dent out with my hand. Much better now. But it made all the other ones more noticeable!

Does anyone else know who makes upper coilover shock mounts like jd fab where you have to cut into the coilover bucket? I bought fox 2.5x8” for my +2 long travel but I had to buy +1” rodends so they measure a little longer now. Some mounts like jd fab would help me out a lot. I sent them an email but they said they wouldn’t sell separate. I added two photos. One of my setup and one of how I would like my shock setup. Any suggestions?
