    Why not just have your slide milled instead of mixing and matching 2 guns? Or buy a second upper in the configuration you want

    3. I’m disgusted with how expensive it is to have it done right and it still not be like factory MOS

    Speaking of MOS, on a factory milled Glock slide, are there any sights that fit on the slide without the adapter plate?

    In other words, does the Glock milling fit any standard configuration?

    I just found the answer to my question.

    The slide is milled in the Shield Footprint pattern. The Leupold Delta Point is one optic that uses that mounting pattern.

    Glock also includes a plate in the Shield pattern, if you want/need the optic a little higher.

    If you have a 19 and 47, you can have 4 different Glocks, since they both use the same RSA.

    You're right. I read my info wrong.

    The 43x/48 have the Shield mount, and no plate. The other guns must use the plate.

    Apparently, I read what I wanted to read......

    I have this MOS plate on my gen 5 G21 and it’s made of plastic. Do y’all know where I can buy an aftermarket metal designed one to replace this factory one? NDZ has some but they are for gen 4s only.

    Thats new to all MOS guns now. No more factory metal plates. Plastic covers only moving forward.

    Why do you want to replace it? Are you not planning on running an optic?

    I don't plan on running an optic. Strictly iron sights for me. I've shot with red dots before and I prefer irons. I just wanted to customize my pistol with something different. They make cool MOS plate covers for gen 4 but I don't think they make them for gen 5s, particularly the G21.
