Totally agree. I just bought a new bike and would have preferred the brighter colors..at the end of the day, I'm happy with the color, but it wouldn't have been my first choice. It's called Phantom Green. I posted it a few pages back...below for reference. The alternative was a metallic rusty brown color. No bright colors offered.

 

I like that. The brown of that model isn't terrible. Maybe because of the gradient. If I didn't get the Expert level Evo, the only Comp level available was the Satin Brown and I was not pumped on it. I still would've bought it but I wanted the Arctic Blue (which was sold out.) I'm happy with what I ended up with (raw carbon) but I do feel like the current trend is more neutral colors and no graphics or anything on the frames. I guess it's all subjective though.

 

Finding this a good time passer and interesting. What a cool stress test.

We're well into the decade, so the new trends are catching up to what companies think the newest crop of buyers want.

 

Yikes, that is rough. Mine is a little dirty, and has a chip or two, but nothing like yours was. I like that idea though, maybe painted Cement to match my 4R. I have always wanted a bright yellow bike though…

I wanted to check out the Railyard, but I was just passing through for a day and happened to have my bike with me. Thunder dome was pretty fun, gotta get the guys there with me to race.

Looks better in the wild. I have to get used to riding this bike again after being on shorter travel "downcountry" bikes the past few months.

 

Anyone looking for an XL lightweight cross country bike? I have a 2022 fezzari signal peak I’m thinking of thinning the heard. Has to be about 27lbs with pedals or so.
