I don’t blame you a bit haha I guess go fast people can have nicer looking rigs because it’s kinda all or nothing if y’all hit a rock/tree. Crawlin it’s hard stay off of them and slow speed just raisins it up.

Things still get tore up. But I do my best to keep it looking nice. Everything is rocky around me and my bedsides are nothing but a target. You can see all of the spots that have been dabbed to hide lol.

I have the dirt king ones already. The jd fab ones mount higher and mounting tabs are flipped to where they are past the coil bucket. That’s what I need but I sent an email to them and they don’t sell separate. So im looking for one similar to jd fabs.

Was going to suggest the same thing. That exact spot started getting tore up in 5 min after I wrapped my truck so I grabbed some ppf to cover it up and it’s held up great

once I accepted it will probably end up a raisin/shit box it made it so much more enjoyable haha. I don’t want to break any glass though. Pain in the ass to clean up plus if I don’t have windows/heat/AC I’d rather have a buggy/bouncer not this giant turd. Those are its only redeeming qualities.

I made some thin abs protectors for that area. Helped a lot!

Can you shoot a picture of the hood hinge area? An engine cage is next for me as the body has separated from the cab.

Id like to see a picture of them!
Not entirely sure what you’re looking for. The tube runs directly under the hood hinge and ties into the A-pillar tube in the cab.

Unfortunately no, I'm not aware of another company that offers a top hat like the JD one. That's why companies offer a spec'd shock for their kit. The standard lengths typically don't work.

Perfect. I'll need to attach my hood hinge to that tube then drop it to the frame. Hood and cab will be separate.

Best picture I could find of the "rock guard" on my computer.

That’s a good idea. My bedsides are alresdy a bit chipped so it’s too late to use ppf.

I think I’m going to bedline that lower corner of my flares. And top off the liner when it also chips.

Abs or bedliner kinda looks dorky being black but way better than the chips it takes.

I wonder how bad bedliner with a coat of color matched spray paint would look. Doesn’t have to be perfect match/paint since the liner will textured and hide the mismatch.

So it’s as easy as just a call to Deaver for a custom leaf for a HD70? I myself will end up being pretty heavy in the back.
