Any good ones on the north entrance side?

Either we can stay on that side or drive back down towards Aztec Peak? I know a pretty large spot for night two..

All depending on time of day and how long it takes us to make it through. I down wanna complicated it more than it needs to be!

Alright so lets get this on the calendar and see who want to join. I havent put together a trail ride with more than three people before, but will figure it out.
Plan is Cherry Creek Rd. Saturday the 1st of April, times to be determined.
Its about 1hour 20 minutes from my place in the J. We can meet up in Miami around here 33.416131, -110.827713 after everyone gets fuel and snacks sometime in the morning.
I don't have a plan on time or how long this will take, but the idea is to make it to Devils Chasm and check the camping location. If anyone want to add anything to the agenda I'm open for it as I haven't been back there.
Chim in with ideas and lets put something easy together and see how it will work out for a camp trip to that area and so forth.?!
Not sure how you guys have planned something like this before?
I can add whom ever wants to join to a DM list so we dont clog up a thread?

Pencil me in. Gotta rip open the tent and replace some parts, but I think I can make some time for it this next week - no classes.

I think the first go will just be a trail ride. Gonna plan the two night camping trip in May for our Bdays. You should still break out the tent and air out the old camp farts.!

Even better. And yes, I need to get it out and take the sleeping bags to the laundromat anyway. I'm considering throwing it on a modded up trailer in the near future, so maybe it'll give me an excuse to take it off the truck for the ride / to fix it.

I'd say cap the list at say 6 trucks or so for scout.. the actual camp trip will probably have more.. or at least plan for it.. so you have a good idea for needed space and needed time for the actual trip. I should be good to go for that scout trip.

We usually drive past the 188 turn off just a tad to hit the Frys/Fuel on the north side of the 60. Maybe we meet out there by 7 or 8? Its about a 30 minute drive from there to Cherry Creek turn off. Second meet up point for stragglers could be that same Cherry Creek turn off where we will be airing down.. and roll out from there around 8.

    Good add,
I like the Fry gas idea and its not too much further, So far I count 4 trucks (mine, my buddy Coleman, Brad, TWIsaac) and probably a good idea to keep it small. I just don't want anyone feeling left out.

I mean, we could do more.. It's just going to add more time and congestion on the trail. If we're going to pack up a trail/area.. I just think limiting it to one instance in a matter of a few weeks is better etiquette.

Add me to the list.
