    Or if you never wash it the mud and dirt form a protective layer on the paint . Why do think animals roll around in the dirt and mud,protective layer.

    My trucks stay dirty now that I live off of dirt roads. But I still keep up with powerwashing my undercarriages. They don't salt up here but I still do it to keep the dirt & mud off my frames.
