A little something every chance we get.
ONE small spot of yellow in the skinny green band is almost here, so the forecast will win out!

I have a "boom box" size older model, I got for my sons car when it had mystery issues. I used it regularly with my dying battery last year. They are worth it, and new ones are MUCH smaller.

How many amps do you use, and would you recommend more amps or could you get by okay with less?

I've got something similar to this that I got from Amazon for $49.95
It started a full size RAM with a V8. Don't bother spending a lot on one, just check the charge status occasionally. The carry case is maybe 8x5x3. Fits in my glove box with plenty of room left

I had bought a ribeye and it was delicious. Could not tell the difference to a regular beef ribeye. I cannot remember if I injected it or not.

Have you seen the thread here?

    Yes. Happy with mine.
I cannot say how many times it will work between charges, but it always works.
We have 1 in each vehicle. 2 different models.

Jackery has an adapter for that.

    Evening all:

You BBQ guys better stock up on fine ground pepper!
I just got done eating some local butcher made scrapple and I'm sweating, my buddy said that the butcher couldn't get the pepper that he normally uses so he substituted course ground pepper. There is a noticeable difference, and I was forewarned that it was peppery, he wasn't kidding!!!
We also noticed a difference in coriander when we made our own deer sausage, certain brands were stronger than others, once made to satisfaction we would stick with the same brand if possible.

Anyone else here that grew up with their nose in car magazines? My sole surviving subscription is "no more". Got my last "Four Wheeler" (March) and the dipsticks at the "Motortrend Group" have informed me they are going to replace the mag with "Motortrend"... for the remainder of my subscription. "Motortrend" still sucks after all these years!

I've got one of the compact jump start packs - but not prone to carry it in the truck during the (many) months we have here where the temp goes right past 105ºF. One of the guys at work told me that he was getting a capacitor start pack - that doesn't depend on an internal battery. Sounds interesting........

It's kind of sad how the car magazine business has changed over the years. They really don't have much to work with today. Electric vehicles might reinvigorate things for a while but I doubt long term. Now it's more about the tech in the dash than what's under the hood, paint jobs, or how long the burnout is.

Yep, outdoor magazines and car magazines , I lived for those magazines. And being a California boy and being a surfer, surfer magazines were an important part of my magazine collection.
