Where Have You Off-Roaded Today? 3rd Gen

Recently camped at Anza Borrego this weekend and this was my first time through Sandstone Canyon. Super awesome place for pictures!

I backed into my front yard this morning when I turned around to pull out of my driveway. Does that count?

 

I’m Hungry! Hell yeah, don’t tell fb they’re open lol.

Climbed that hill with more torque as expected. I just haven’t felt that locked feeling in a looooong time.

I didn’t realize I was on a black diamond trail for dirt bikes…in 2WD/ALSD!!!!! Damn, it got pretty far up before I realized I needed 4WD. Photos don’t do justice.

And before I took off home, had to play Dukes in 2WD-Locked.

 

Lastly, I can’t wait to climb that trail come this Summer, hopefully late Spring.

 

Is Murphy's still there? I went to college in Prescott and the wife grew up there. I'm the only person on Murphys Beer Wall of Fame 6 times.......lol

They should add a jeep and a black diamond. The rains are making it more tricky. The ruts are getting naaaasty. And it’s lose stuff to the top.

Those of us with ALSD — Sport, SR, and SR5’s, it can be done, but expect a more wild ride and adrenaline push. I still love that ALSD Magic.

 

They look great on your rig. Thinking about getting them too. How do you like them so far? Any noise or other issues?

They run just fine, on the road they are no different than the stock wranglers.
A lot better traction off road.

Only thing that threw me off is that I am used to running my tires at a little lower psi unless I go on a longer trip, but once I changed that it was just fine

 

I narrowed it down to the Toyos and Falkens and I keep coming back to the Falkens.
Now I'm struggling with using the OEM wheels or moving up to 17".
