Thanks for the reply! So I’m assuming that the highway drone isn’t too much of an issue? Also how much louder is it than the stock exhaust? I want the sound louder than stock but I don’t wanna be a nuisance.

After adjusting the tips I am pretty happy with this Flowmaster dual exit system. The sound is louder than stock for sure buy not obnoxious and you can start it up and get out the neighborhood without waking everyone up. You can hear that low mello rumble getting up to speed and once it kicks down to cruising speed you know its there but it feels like it belongs. Yesterday I was going to take it off the truck, put it in the box, and sell it for scrap. I'm going to try it for a while longer but I am really liking it now.

Update, during a road trip up to Flagstaff for a week, this damn BlowMaster is going in the trash soon as I get home. I am so glad I saved the stock muffler and exit pipe.

Not a drone at all. I have the KD Pro tune and my truck shifts fairly well now uphill. The 3-5 thousand rpm range the Flowmaster is 4 of 5 loud. Most of the time climbing from Phoenix to Flagstaff this truck in the 3-5K range. Just tooo much for me these days I guess. It's not even a bad sound, I guess maybe I am getting old.

I can understand that, these days i prefer to listen to music without vehicle noise drowning it out or be able to have a normal conversation without straining my voice haha.
I'll be making that trip in a few weeks but i'm all stock so it doesn't bug me.

I can't blame the Flowmaster and I can't blame the truck. The truck runs great and the exhaust is loud. I bought a great running truck and a loud exhaust. I apologize for my little Blowmaster comment. Sometimes Ya get exactly what Ya asked for only to find out it wasn't for you.

Side note, we are having a great time. I always love every minute I get to spend up here.
