Save yourself some future aggravation and pick up a wide mouth foam cannon...I switched mine out...much easier to fill.

I'm curious if you found a solution. I found that there used to be many plastic overlays available but it seems Toyota is cracking down on people copying/earning money from their logo (well within Toyota's rights to do this) so they are getting hard to find. Found one on ebay and impulsively ordered it for too much money.

Then I wondered if it's a good idea to put a thin hard plastic overlay on. If the airbag deploys would that throw bits of broken plastic at my face and chest? I'm never had an airbag deploy on me but stuff happens. One post said the original emblem is fairly flexible.

I'm not obsessive about killing my interior chrome, but that steering wheel emblem really stands out now that I've covered the vent rings.

I made it and had a shop upholster it. Under the pad, a lid opens to the former bin space with tools under. The rear portion under the pad has about 2" of clearance. One side has a portal cutout, the other doesn't. I fit some tools there for quick access, like an axe and Silky saw. The tank towards the front is the Front Runner tank, fits nicely.

Still all in my head… but I’m keeping the chrome bumper!
Mine came with some huge extra chunks of rubber stuck to it… already looked toughened up. Like everything else with these rigs… we notice it, post, search, obsess, forget then repeat

I made the platform in about 6 hours. Not sure how long they took to upholster it but it wasn't cheap as you'd expect for bespoke work.

Nice platform! Just curious - how are you using the water tank? (Why in-cab vs outside or in the bed?)

I think it's normal. Noticed mine since 2019 when I got it.

Just installed 17x8.5" with 0 offset FSW (Factory Style Wheels) 2022 TAC PRO Style and 265/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3. She's a little dirty, needs a bath. My setup has 2" Rough Country N3 front struts and 1" blocks in rear.

Today I mounted my HiLift Jack using the RCI brackets.
Then I grabbed a painting canvas from home depot, rattle canned it, and used one wrap to secure it.

Keeps it discrete, and the canvas keeps it relatively dry.
As a bonus canvas can serve as a tarp during repairs, fire retardant , or weight on a tow strap during recovery.

Finished up the driverside hydrobump, got everything loctited and finished fender trimming. Just waiting on shafts from a buddy, and then its time to beat on it!

I remember years in GA where it looked like it rained yellow snow from the sky. I dig that striking cobalt blue color.
