Front bumper feeler. Really want to build something new this summer. $600 as is. Bumper ends at the frame, not the factory cross member. Pm for more pics or questions.

Definitely. The problem is this was built around a chopped out front cross member.

@Twitch57 @WarFab Armor updated the chop kit to be more click together and easy to install. Only thing you’d have to do is relocate the power steering cooler. Which we have figured out.

Had an '05 1.8T GTI, loved that little heap but wouldn't pay you a dollar to take it back.

Damn man that's a freakin steal. Looks badass and made by a guy who knows his way around a welder. If I had a 2nd gen :spending:

I battled with 1.8Ts as well in a variety of cars for a number of years. Modern EA888 2.0T engines are light years ahead of the old 1.8Ts. You should give one a try.

Does that mean I would have to modify my cross member then?

If you didn’t then the bumper would just look a little weird. Although we could add a little filler plate and it might not look too bad. Gonna be working in the shop most of the day. You’re welcome to swing by and check it out if you want.

I am a little nervous about making too many drastic changes while the truck is still under warranty.

Wife has me running around getting ready for the kiddos bday party but Ill bug you in a day or so.

I guess I was fortunate. New in 02' and drove it 11 years with only oil, tire changes. It had the auto with slap shift. Fun car for an old guy. :burnrubber: Water pump replaced and gave it to my son as a second car when I got the taco.

a delivery fee ( CHEAP ). NO rust just dirty

i would have to see what is in there. But from looking at the threads here they would
    appear to be.
