I haven't got that far in planning, heh. I think it would probably work best to meet at something like Black Bear or the Denny's off of 217 (my vote is the Denny's, I live really close to it :D). Any preference on time? No matter what you guys say I'm showing at least by 8 to eat breakfast before rolling, I want some pancakes.

    EDIT: Or Bulgogi, LOL!

I just ordered an OME front shock set. They'll come ready to bolt on. I also ordred a progressive leaf pack for the rear to replace the block lift currently installed.

Anyone wanna make a few bucks or some beer helping install later this week? I'm inner NE PDX but can come to you.

I've got some tools. I have the tools to do the fronts for sure, I just haven't done the rears before so I don't know, hopefully I have them all. What I don't have I can buy and I could rent an air gun if you want. Whatever we need to get the job taken care of (including beer) I can provide. I'll just need to know what we need.

    Post a date. I can recommend the 26th ;)

recommended tools. (I have these unless marked otherwise)

Impact gun (I don't have. Harbor Freight sells a good one)
21mm (?) impact socket for lugs
socket set and wrench. I think you need 16mm, 10mm, 14mm. Not sure if there's others
    jack and jack stands
    cheater bar (don't have)
if you are putting on UCAs, a large monkey wrench
    rags
    needlenose pliers
    flat blade screwdriver

    I think that's about it...

I think the only thing you forgot on your list is beer. Let me know what you two like and I'll bring that as well. I'll buy an impact gun before hand and if that date works for 04LTtacoma and you, it'll work for just fine for me.

Just curious what you guys need an impact gun for? Unless you plan on using it all the time there really isn't any need in wasting the money. All you need is a ratch and some sockets. This isn't a commercial truck you're working on. If you can't get the nuts lose you can use a breaker bar.

Its not too early to start shooting the nuts you'll be removing with pb blaster or wd-40. Especially the front hanger bolt/nut on the rear leafs. Do this each day until the thrash day. It'll make the process muuuuuuch easier.

I just found a new Craftsman 1/2" impact wrench for $60. I'm gunna see if I can grab that. I agree that it's overkill but whatever, if it makes the job quicker and easier it'll likely be used (infrequently) in the future. I'll do the wd40 trick starting tonight, thanks Digiratus

Hey thought I better pop into this thread and introduce myself since I am an Oregonian. My name is Bill; I picked up my 05 taco (V6 extended cab trd) a couple weeks ago and already love the thing, (first time Toyota owner). I have been lurking on here since I got it trying to figure out which direction I wanted to go with it, ended up going with the 5100's in front and 1 inch AAL in the rear, and throwing on some 265/75/16 KM2's to top it off. Me and a buddy did all the suspension stuff ourselves and only had to peak at a DIY once or twice. I live near Newport here on the coast and if anyone ever needs a hand with anything hit me up and I would be happy to help anyone out
