I still have the auxbeam to install and meso puddle pod switch with the runnin4taco panel mount that's similar to that mount. It's just been sitting in my attic, also the hidden bumper dd led bar.

What did you wire the switch to for power?

I ran the switch power wire to the interior fuse panel, and tapped into "p/outlet no.1" (cigarette lighter fuse)

Apply a lil heat to that with a heat gun and it’ll pop it out. You could also help it on the other side then bring it to a body shop and they’ll put some bumper bondo on it to smooth it out and repaint it.

Still all in my head… but I’m keeping the chrome bumper!
Most Tacoma’s bumpers stick out more on the driver’s side, you may have fixed it. Seriously though there is a thread on how to realign your bumper, you’d do pretty much the same steps replacing that part in the process.

Not terrible. No carbon. They look like they got a hair hot, but that might be normal for iridiums.

And while I was playing with the truck, I impulse bought some component speakers for the front. And I laid another layer of cce behind the plastic.:anonymous:

    PXL_20230325_221035395.jpg

There's a subtle improvement over the kickers. Sound stage is much more balanced. :headbang:

uh... So I have a question. on R4T website, you can order stuff. cool.
Shipped is "X" amount of dollars, or you have the ability to pick it up locally.
For the ability to pick it up locally they charge you an additional $100 ?????
I was going to order and drive up to Denver to pick it up, but it's literally cheaper if they ship it.
    what the actual ...

I was never impressed with them. I personally don't like one-stop shops. Your tend to get better support if you bypass the middle man and establish a relationship with the source manufacturer(s).

I have been wanting to visit their shop but know if I do I'll want more stuff.
Regarding online, when I went looking for my RCI sliders, R4T did carry them and at the same sale price but they had a delivery charge for local pickup at the R4T shop of $285. Now I know it's expensive to ship sliders, but they are literally 50 miles from the RCI factory. Couldn't they get a batch cheaper? So I just drove myself to RCI, paid no delivery fee, and had them put them on for me (they did charge for this but it sure was convenient, especially since I had one arm immobilized due to an injury).

Yes, there are several TW members that have them installed. The only issue I have had is that of temp drops below freezing the control on the far left is loose and you have to squeeze to turn the knob. Once warmed up it works fine.

59.2k. It's spring, the weather was nice, and I'm getting the less pleasant 60k items out of the way, starting with that mess. Good gravy I've never had to use a step ladder and contort to reach some of those bolts before. :anonymous:

Stock dash location with an adapter. Crossovers stuffed just underneath. I know the real audio nerds will drill and mount the sail panel. I'm not there. ...yet.
