“Throw Down” cant expect much for a quick weekender tent. Easy on the wallet, wont hurt more when it eventually rips as most tents tend to do after a while.

Still cheaper than a magellan house brand.

how do you like that awning? im debating between that style and the one that goes forward to cover the front door too.

I love the awning. It's very sturdy with all 4 leg poles out. I've had it in some very windy conditions. I did think that the forwardmost part would still allow me to get into the back driver-side door when the walls are deployed but the end of the wall ends partway into the door. Part of me wishes I got the larger OVS 270 awning but it's almost 40 lbs heavier. It's also about $500 dollars more if you get the walls with it.

It was....average....I actually bought 2 so if wife or girlfriend want to sleep in truck. :rofl:Brought only 1 though. I think it would be better to snap 2 together. They are built for connecting them. I'm 6', 250lb and it was narrow for me. Bedrug helped. I was actually comfortable. I like firm.

One of the coves on the Nevada side of Lake Mojave. I did Mojave Rd East to West after, and this spot was still the highlight of my trip!

Nope, no insulation. The diesel heater keeps it nice and toasty in there and eliminates all condensation.

I scored a last min campsite in Zion when the rain caused people to cancel. It's a little soggy and cold, but tomorrow should be great!

What do you use to power the diesel heater? Last time I tried one, it was plugged into my 500W Jackery around 85% and in the morning it was down to 35%. I wasn't expecting such a big hit on the battery. Curious as to what you have experienced.

Not that unusual. I'm heating the cap on mine and if it's ~18 or below, I'm drawing 20amps overnight. Credit, that'll be ~12-13hrs
