I hated this one in particular:

And the driver's side electrical harness gave me some grief too. But other than that, it was gravy.

Hey @RicerRabbit I finally installed the RedArc brake controller in my truck too. What do you think of it? I had to get my travel trailer to the dealer today (2 hours away) and while driving around town and back roads to the highways for a bit to calibrate the redarc, I did not like what I was experiencing. brakes were locking on the trailer, causing skidding at traffic lights and stop signs, plus lots of shaking. Maybe I didn't give it enough time or experiment enough with turning down the braking power... I had to get my trailer out to PA, so I ended up towing the trailer out with my father-in-laws full size truck.... what a difference, lol. But I'm not going to give up just yet with my Tacoma and this RedArc. Any ideas? Is it user error? lol

Only if all the pouches are full  Otherwise its just a lot of pouches. A weeks worth of dog food for 2 large dogs, recovery gear, hammock kit, air hoses, two Cliq chairs (one small, one large), 2 medical kits, lash straps, lights sticks, hand warmers, drink mixes (liquid IV, emergenC, etc), gravity water filter and lifestraw, spare 1lb propane tank, trash can in the middle between the two front seats, up top there is a rolled up rain jacket and rolled up puffer down jacket along with a couple sets of gloves. You know now that I wrote it all down... maybe its a lot of stuff o_O

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
Once it gets warm consistently I am going to put a small strip of double sided tape on the knobs which should solve the issue.

Front diff (swapped with Lexus plug), transfer case and rear diff fluids. I wish Toyota would simplify the amount and type of sockets and washers needed for this process. The front diff was nasty, but the rest could've been left a lot longer. (18k miles, but 6+ years old:notsure:)

I even bought the fancy Toyota stuff and a new can opener. The things we do for our trucks.
(btw, harbor freight battery pumps are trash and won't suck up any gear oil)

Installed a Headstrong 3 Leaf AAL and rear Bilstein 5100's tonight. Tomorrow morning the front 5100's with OME springs go in.

That's an insanely clean looking undercarriage for a 6 year old truck. I don't think mine looked that good a week after I drove it home (it didn't; I was under it running the tailgate lock wires and knocking dirt into my face).

I purchased an Auxbeam unit also, but haven't been able to find a suitable tray to mount. Which tray are you using? That is how I would prefer to install mine. I do have an automatic Off-Road which may be different. Thanks for any input

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
To be honest I haven't got a chance to use it yet. I'll be using it when I tow my sports car to the next track day.

My REDARC would brake proportional to how hard I'm braking unless I override it and that's when I get to control how hard it'll brake.

Apologies for not being much help :/

We had some nice weather the other day so went out and used the tent. Gotta say it is very nice being able to relax in random areas or even get some shut eye. What bracket did you use to mount the auxbeam under the hood? I’m currently debating making a quick bracket up or purchasing one

Finally did the H9 swap and these two approve of the rear window. I just wish it was powered.
