Starry night, Eric Church "Live From the Pit", a cold Strohs or two, solo stove working like a charm, and Tessa on over watch.

 

Haven’t had a Strohs since they sold out and no longer brewed in Michigan. Wow we could go down to the Navy exchange and get an 18 pack for 2.99. Those were the days.

 

I had one st dinner last time we were upper there and brought some back. I remember driving by that brewery along 75 and the "Strohs Curve".

 

Too bad Alex wasn't there as well...

I want to for our next NP trip, but I think we're headed to the PNW and Glacier next year. Without the truck.

 

We should get a regearing group buy here. I need to start chirping the wheels when changing gears....lol

 

Had to go up to Tysons for meetings yesterday and on the way back I stopped at Occoquan for some shad fishing at 2 pm. It was a blast. If you have never done it, give it a try using a tandem setup with a dart on top and a spoon on the long lead. I was catching 3 lbs shad consistently for an hour and my arm was sore from all the hooksets! What a blast!

 

Ecgs is close, and they can regear there. Break-in on the way home.

Went to the Kennedy Center Terrace Theater yesterday. My nephew was a substitute bass player. While not my cup of tea, it was a neat experience followed by dinner with him.

 

All I see are wheels on a gravel road...
