I follow the IG page and a local dude from up here went once and said it was nice. Frederick is now almost two hours from me so I don’t go down that way much

 

Well that's a bit off putting @2ndhandTacoman. I'm guessing they were likely some younger kids or something. @AR15xAR10 I've heard good things about it. It's about an hour and 15 from me. I probably won't go as I'd like to sleep in tomorrow. But we should still try to organize a little something in the future. That would be sweet.

 

That Green Ridge State Park looks nice. Not around the corner though, at least for me.

 

I’m down its just the place has been getting more and more populated since the batflu nonsense came around and thats why I stopped going down there. You’d pay ahead of time for a camping spot and you’d get there and run into squatters (people that didnt pay and often didnt speak english). That happened at least 3 times in 2020 and I havent been back with a group since. Infuriating. @fatfurious2 and I were able to get out last spring for one day/night (thats all i could get a site for, book was full and the place was too busy for me).

i’m not a large group of people kind of person thats why I dont come east and I keep moving further west the most fun I have had there have been in groups of 10 or less trucks. When you get 20-30+ its a mess.

Same with trails like Flagpole. Ill go with maybe 3-4 other people. I've hosted a few trail runs over the years and 20+ people showed up. Waiting around isnt. While its fun and all, people going off trail and sharing locations isn't that great.

Id much rather discover my own stuff and share with a couple friends who i know won't geotag it. Like this spot. Its a public road, but instead of getting the location from me, go out and find it on your own. Makes it better that way

 

I had a good time at those TW GR meets. But since I bought my SxS I don't play with my trucks anymore. And I find it hard to leave the mountain. The older I get the more I'm content just hanging out with my dog.

I wouldn't say it's clean, it's just not rusty, beat up or modded. I bought it from the original owner. Since I no longer have a garage to store it and wrench on it I've been on the fence about selling both as a pair.

 

That’s funny… I was drooling over your truck to the wife as we went by. Told her I wanted that color so bad, as gloomy as it was out… it was glowing!

Last thing I need is two more cars, but would be interested in the cleaner one if you would sell solo at some point.

 

And it's absolutely filthy. Drove it down to Disney last week and got back early Tuesday AM, of course it was covered with bugs, and then running around in the rain the past couple days it's just bad. Having paint correction and ceramic coating done Monday, can't wait to see the outcome. It's a really amazing color, the flake in it doesn't stand out unless it's in bright sunlight and then it pops.

 

Deebo and Buttercup, one thing I pay attention to is Dogs, he was a good ol boy…a little cranky at times though She’s a sweetheart

 

Been to a couple but there kinda like a middle school group of friends (clicky) on FB the one who started it is cool but most seem to hold them selves above others if your not lifted or participate in all there events .And I’d rather do a trail ride then a parking lot meet but now that I bought my place in WVa my time is spent there working or playing there when time permits.

Agreed. I've gone to Flagpole with a small group, like 3 or 4 of us and it was perfect. Then I've gone with a large group like 15 to 20+ and that was just too big of a group in my opinion. I stayed with the group of guys I convoyed down there with, so like 3 of us.
