@Stitchgirl90's first car when she got her driver's license was a 1999 Ford Taurus with just 40K miles that she bought in 2010 for $4,400. The car was a base model, but it had A/C and it was absolutely mint. Basically, it was a perfect first car; Amanda got into a minor accident with it that wasn't her fault, but it was a good car. In 2012, the starter went; Amanda is allergic to bees and the car also had bee's nest in it. The Taurus only had 83K miles the clock, but Amanda's ex's mom told her to just scrap it. Lemme say it again; '99 Ford Taurus with 83K miles that had needed a new starter and a thorough detailing, and it went to the junkyard. I have told Amanda that if scraps another perfectly good vehicle, I am breaking up with her!

 

Thats crazy, starters arent that bad priced

 

Yeah, and now you know what I was dealing with when I helped Amanda get out of that situation!

 

I don’t know much about the Taurus other than the one my buddy had.
It was an early 90’s model SHO. It was was banging 7,000 rpm on the regular.
I was fairly impressed by it to be honest.

That friend is gone, no longer with us. He passed away in a motorcycle accident.
Sure won’t be another one like him.
