    I custom made my tray.

It's actually pretty easy to make. 3003 Aluminum bends pretty easily.
You just need a jig saw, file, drill, and vise (a vise brake makes the bends look better)

i know this is a number of pages back, but absolutely this. smaller than jumper cables, and way easier to use.

a number of times on the job one of the other contractors will accidently leave something on, easy to do when grabbing things in/out of a vehicle all day at work. i can just throw the case at them and go back to work while i let them figure it out instead of having to reposition vehicles, worry about who's hooking up what cable, where they're hooking up, and if they're doing it wrong. all the jump boxes like that have reverse polarity detection and all sorts of other self-checks before they allow the jump start. it doesn't solve the idiot, but eliminates the idiot from creating a larger problem. absolute worst case is they'll come back and tell me it doesn't work.

i keep one in all my vehicles just for that reason.

Do you also carry jumper cables? I have a battery jump pack in each car but still have cables as I’m sure they won’t fail. Of course if you are by yourself the battery jumper is going to be essential. So I have both but wonder if it is overkill.

Installed the toyota remote power tailgate lock, I can’t believe that it’s not standard. Maybe it’s just the SR models?

    Nope.

It was not on my TRD Sport. I purchased it separately.

Idk, the aural warnings get on my nerves generally because they all seem to be over cautious and I eventually tune them out. I have no one to blame but myself—I was in a rush and should’ve slowed down. Poor vis and the faulty assumption about the shape of the pillar didn’t help, but even without a backup cam I shouldn’t have hit it.

If you have the space, not the worst idea. The jumpstarter is just a fancy battery, albeit a very useful fancy battery for charging USB devices and on some a 12V plug-style port. I doubt any of the experienced off-roaders in TW can argue against a 2nd line of defense.

Finished the suspension up. OME 884's on Bilstein 5100's (bottom notch) up front with Taco lean spacer on left side. Rear is Headstrong 3 L AAL with 1/2" spacers. Only got about an inch of lift up front so I'm going to raise the perches one notch before it goes for an alignment, that should net me 1.8" up front which is what I was looking for.

I don't think it's standard on any model. The dealer installed mine and pretended it was a stock feature. I'm mad but not that mad.

Gave the bed a bit of love today. Tomorrow it goes to the A.R.E. dealer to have the cap put on it. Easily the cleanest the bed has been since I bought it!

Yup. Not standard on SR, SR5, TRD Sport or OR. Not sure about Limited or Pro. When I bought mine I didn't even think to ask about a power tailgate, I figured it was standard.
