I have some square tube to butt weld to a plate, and it’s going to hold up kayaks on a trailer. Debating if they’re worth it now that I drew them.

    I've got a ton of 3" gussets I cut from scrap I won't be using. Granted they're 1/8".

    Man.

    Guy on the 4Runner forum bought a 2016 4Runner.

Months later says he tried to engage his rear locker; wouldn't work.

Looks underneath and posts this -

Only 8 years old and it's baaaaaaaad. Can only imagine how much he paid being a 'Trail Edition'

I've had the steering shaft seize up once in a while. Its rare but has happened.

Hmmmm. I’ll keep that in mind. I think I’ll weld it without and then add them if I bolt it down and don’t like how it feels.

The shaft that runs to the rack. There are two u-joints in the line. One started seizing last year and had to replace it. There is another inside the cabin. That may be it. I've read about this being reported by others.

I could easily cut smaller ones if you need any.

Just happen to have 3" and I think 4 or 5" gussets.

    @Wulf

How will bad injectors look like on a scan tool?

    My HPOP is 500-2500 psi
    my IPR is 10%-42%,
    back pressure is 15-20 psi
Most boost I saw was like 7psi but that was after it was really wound up... no load (it is an early 99 so smaller turbo up pipes and plenums)

Still with the low power... like I don't feel like I should need 1/2-3/4 throttle to accelerate at pace with traffic

One number I don't understand and can't get a straight answer on rhe internet for is mass fuel desired mine maxes out at 66 mg/stroke its steady at 12 at idle

Looks like the Land Cruiser camper project was cancelled. No more square-tuning frame on the back.

Just kidding, I love the guy but holy fuck....this is after about an hour of brushing just one side of him on the couch. And this is a daily routine now since Spring started

At least you'll know if he farts, there should be a cloud of fur left hanging in the air.

I mean I guess now I understand how they stay warm in freezing cold and are still able to tolerate summer temps but goddamn....there is no end in sight with how much fur I'm pulling off of him. You'd think after this long brushing it would start to be less and less but no...

It's blowout season, when they blow their coat it takes a while. Good time for a grooming usually, those people have nozzles that make it come off easy and then they use those high velocity dryers that also take more off.
