Fresh paint job for the truck. Just need to Bedliner the flares and reinstall with new flare pads. Maybe get new badges from Toyota too.

Thanks! I think so too for the door panels, but I still want the Toyota nameplate on the tailgate I think.

I actually went through an insurance shop called Andy’s Collision. I called a lot of body shops and they wouldn’t even take on a full truck paint job because of the age of the vehicle. These guys were very reasonable and did a very nice job.

Your front end is going to have 3" of lift and you didn't lift the rear?? Why?

I think that the op is saying that there on the lowest setting, which should be stock hight. At least thats how they list them, and has been my experience with running them on a different vehicle.

Got a link to the box you're looking at? I mostly see that style for full-size trucks; too large for a 1st gen Tacoma.

Took a 100 mile trip today to only discover at the hotel that the passenger floorboard is nice and soaked :annoyed:

guessing I pulled the ac drain hose from the evap coil when I ran a new antenna cable last week so got some fun hotel parking lot project for tomorrow morning!

yes you are correct , the shocks will come assambled with No Lift, stock High ,the 600 lbs. bilstein coil $828 and the Alcans leaf pack i told them that i prefer stock high only the camper and once in awhile some cargo added to the bed so is 300 lbs … will see how they sits once installed , hope not no get more than 1.5 lift… it should be how stock Rake came up from factory because the 21 yrs old leaf pack looks negative… truck is aprox 35” front and rear so Alcans CSR said is a sign of worn leaf pack… also says will ride nicer… will see

gotta wait… will think later what else should i change in same install .?
    UCA

Yeah i get the Alcan decision.

But those front coils even at the 0'' lift setting on the Bilsteins(in fact they are ONLY supposed to be installed at the 0'' setting otherwise it'll over lift the truck) will be a 3'' front lift. If you want no front lift and no lift leaf packs and an all around stock look. You want OME 880 front coils.

I just did that to my DD truck. 880 coils and General Springs for the leafs. Looks great, bit of rake like stock and no lift.(it looks lifted mostly because the old shit was so clapped out, but it isn't).
