I've had them revving to 6500+

8psig or so on a stock 3G at ~500ft ASL.

 

Might be different but changing this field doesn't work for me even though the tables for everything else go out to 6k.




Also you running pump or corn on the 3G referenced?

 

Interesting.. I've not had a need to raise it on any of the FJ's we've worked on thus far, but that parameter works just fine on the 2G. I'd submit a ticket with HPT on it.

All of our 3G stuff is all on pump. 91/93 Octane.

Not sure there would be enough fuel supply for corn with this amount of airflow.

How are your IAT's during the run? Do you have the ability to see them? With that large intercooler, I imagine that they are pretty dang good.

 

Maybe 1-2° increase over baseline (where it was before pull) on a WOT pull, very little creep.

 

That is really good. They used a good intercooler.

 

Just checking in here. I'll be starting my install on a 4.0 soon, probably about 1 month out.

I have a urd y pipe, innovate afr and fp gauges going in (urd fuel rail tap). There's a dyno a few blocks away from that I should be able to get a baseline run on (e load 33's and a snorkel).

Also installing a csf radiator, b&m trans cooler and a power steering cooler at the same time. I'm on my first tank of 91 octane and should be able to get through 2 more before I start this

Not sure if I'm missing anything else, I guess I'll order that $35 all threads from mcmaster

 

What kind of beer will you be consuming during the install?

 

Crucial for a good install, don't cheap out on this step.

Got the ProCharger mounted up. There’s no way this thing is going to clear my csf radiator so now I’m in a mad scramble trying to order an oem radiator. I really don’t want to ditch the csf.

You mean the intercooler doesn't clear? I have a CSF as well but my setup is a bit different.

 

The ProCharger rotomolded inlet doesn’t look like it’ll clear - the fitment is super tight on the 4Runner setup.

I tracked down a used oem radiator and I’m still not sure how this is all going to work.

The right corner tip of the ruler is where the edge of the csf sits



And then here is the rotomolded elbow. If you look closely, I had to cut out the corner of the fan shroud. Right now it hits even the oem radiator when fitted so I’ll probably call ProCharger Wednesday.

 

I haven't seen a setup that uses the stock box. Probably exclusive to the

I see that is quite tight. That procharger location is different than the rest of us are running. You might have better luck with a cobra head silicone elbow for ultra tight radius than the plastic one?

3rd gen using stock air box? We're all using cone filter on the 2nd gen iteration.
