How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

My new Sport is a couple of weeks past the original promise, and the dealer says it should be in Houston on the 8th. But I'm curious.

I have a OR DCLB in MGM w/Adv Tech and Premium packages on the way. Built 1/31, went on hold 2/17, and hold was recently lifted. System showing delivery to dealer 3/30 - 4/4. If it helps, I’m in Seattle.

 

Good to hear someone is coming off of hold. That’s the same date that mine was built and the same date it went on hold. Mine is an ORSB with advanced tech and premium packages.

 

mine no longer says 63 or 70 day hold I’d be curious if yours does now

I see a lot of threads from owners in the north…anyone on here from Louisiana or Texas besides me? My Taco has been on hold since 2/14/23. I was told that it is being held at the port in Houston, TX, but nobody knows why or for how long! Anyone in Louisiana had their’s released yet?

 

My dealer told me today that it’s still on hold, but they didn’t say if it still says “70 days”.

@DragonPro23 do you care to seeing if mine is still showing “70 days” or if it dropped it like @Sharpshot610 ?

I am from Louisiana but purchased my Tacoma in Alabama. There wasn’t much inventory in Louisiana at all and none on lots to test drive when I was looking. Dealers in LA and TX have the Gulf Coast Distributor and the rest of the Southeast has the Southeast Toyota Distributor. I think Southeast Toyota Distributor is larger and gets more allocations than the Gulf Coast; however, I don’t know how the logistics work during hold period. However, for reference my truck was built in Nov 22 and didn’t arrive at dealer until March 3rd, 2023.

 

@Tacoma Trailhead , are you trying to make a fellow Taco lover from LA cry, LOL!! I cannot understand for the life of my what could be holding it this damn long! I am about ready to take a trip to Houston chanting "FREE THE TACO's, FREE THE TACO's".

@DragonPro23, stupid question...are the dealerships told why the hold is or are they as much in the dark as we are?

 

I'm in SW La. The last new Taco I saw go through here was in late January. Still waiting for mine. Deposit was placed in late December, and vehicle allocated in January I believe.
At least the money is still in my account and not yet paying insurance.

 

I finally got a crumb of info from the dealership on my 1/6 build and according to the area rep I'll get it "between the first and last week of next month" Lol
