Good morning all. Hope everyone had a pleasant weekend.

Our concert Saturday night may have been one of the best shows I've ever had the pleasure to attend. Jeffery Gaines at the West Shore theater in New Cumberland. A renovated movie theater, they still show films but have also reworked the stage for live performances. Seating has been changed in that the center of the theater retains old school movie theater seating with a small bar area at the rear center with a couple of high top bar type tables, and on each side of center along the walls they have installed booths with L-shaped seating and a small table in front of the seats allowing groups of 4-6 people to share the booth. We had 4 people in our group and had the next to last booth on the left as you enter the theater. This put us about 30-40 feet from the stage with a great view. Acoustics in the venue were perfect. View was perfect. Gaines played for about 2-1/2 hours, mostly his original stuff with a couple of covers thrown in. He interacted with the crowd telling stories and anecdotes from his time on the road and his experiences with opening and playing with larger acts. Beers were $5 which nowadays is unheard of at a concert.

No rain this morning here, but it is lightly sprinkling now. Got my dog's walk in and that's good.

Went to urgent care for the flu in whatever month it was. Copay was $75. Got the bill the other day from the hospital and the EOB: I still owed the hospital $87. Don't worry though, it was applied to my deductible!
