Valving plays a huge roll. When I switched my truck from OME 90000 stiff shocks/660 lb coils over to Kings w/ 700 lb coils, there was actually more body roll. It was weird.

Just greased U-joints and slip yokes DIY for the first time. That was... actually way easier than I thought! I can even get to everything with the truck on the ground and no skids removed! Probably would have taken longer to drive to the damn dealership.

Cleaning the excess is the worst part, but I just stuck a glove on and scooped with my finger and had a shop towel ready.

Think I was 5K overdue for having done it the first time at 20K, but now that I know how easy it is I don't see an issue with doing it 1x a year.

The truck looked good today following you back towards town. I’ve done 4 of those rear bumpers too and yours looks the best. Think it’s because the others have the spare still under the bed and it just looks weird.

Thank you and yeah I agree, gotta get the tire out from under the bed. I can see myself putting the spare in the bed vertically up against the front wall. Now that the truck isnt a daily.

I dabbled back when I had more free time in Ohio, caught one steelhead after many many hours wandering up and down rivers.

I'd love to try my luck at sone legit trout once I find some time between all the other new things here in AZ.

Hi all! Does anyone have a drill press they would be willing to drill a few holes in some aluminum gussets for my DIY wedge camper I am working on? I got a quote from a Machine shop that was pretty expensive to drill 12 holes.

Or if someone can point me in the direction of someone in the Phoenix area who might be able to help?

    Thanks!

There’s a lotta great things in AZ and fly fishing is one of the top things. I’m new to it and haven’t caught anything yet lol granted I’ve only put my line in the water once
