I'd be down, as long as it's not going to require the Army Corp of Engineers to get a stock truck down the trail. I don't want to be an inconvenience lol

Honestly, I dont know the trail at all but what ive seen from a YT video it should be just fine for you. End goal is to get my brothers big ass 2wd dodge down the same spot. I've got plenty of recovery gear in case we need to MacGyver some shit! Figure between the ppl that are coming this run will be just fine. Kinda the purpose of the scouting and checking road conditions. Ill make another run and drive in from the north side and do the same.

Whatever time works for you guys. It's about an Hour drive for me to Frys. Not sure how early people are wanting to get up.. but I'd be ok with meeting out there around 7 or 8..

I think stock 4wd would be just fine. Worst case we work people through some spots. No biggie.

Also, based off our little trail run over the weekend, there wasn't as much water as I was expecting coming down the creeks and washes from up north.. and the trails were dry (no mud). Granted, we were in a different area, but doing the same thing.. navigating valleys and crossing washes and all in the same elevation/similar terrain.

I keep thinking im going to find the limit of this truck and then I don't somehow :fingerscrossed:

Judging by that vid that got posted it doesn't seem like anything super crazy

Agree with @XPOTRPR about the water situation. I did 15 miles up the back way to Crown King and then the regular road to CK on Saturday and it was drier than it was a month ago.

Man we could have linked up! We did a regular route for us on the way up to visit the family. Dipped off the 17 at Black Canyon and did 25 miles of dirt the back way north into my little home town. Almost thought about doing CK first.. going up and over, then dropping down into my home town.. as CK is right in the middle. Wasn't enough time.

Probably better you didn't lol there was 220+ ultra marathon runners going up the back way to CK. And I think every square foot of parking was wedged full in CK with spectators and whatnot. It was a cluster lol

These camp spots on the north side you speak of.. You got any that you wanna share that can house a camp out in May? I'll make my way up there to look myself, but a pin heading would be a good start.!
I'll post up the second run, I'm just sharing a camping trip with anyone who wants join and we can call it a "Meet"!

hey @Yacob_D I've got 2 co-workers who might join us with their trucks Saturday if that's cool. One is my good buddy and the other just got a new to him FJ he wants to take out. Both are plenty capable of this trail.
