What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Was changing my oil and my wife thought it would be cool to paint my skid plate. I kinda like it, what do y’all think for a cheap easy way to look different?

Looks great! It's a simple mod but for some reason it's one of my favourites.

 

Installed 12v outlet under the rear seat for dometic fridge. Plenty of room behind plastic cubby under seat.

They are the plastic tops. Works for me as it’s mostly for just stopping small rocks from hitting underside.. will upgrade in future likely but just need a bit of time with the truck before deciding.

 

So, I am a bit lost on this post and picture. What is this noodle accomplishing? Noise reduction, I assume? Thanks.

 

It absorbs and blocks the road noise that travels up between the cab and box and enters into the cab through the rear vents.

 

Doesn't do anything for me but if you like it keep it

 

I finally after 3 years took my OEM roof rack off. Trading it tomorrow for some OEM roof trim parts to go back to normal. When I got the rack I really thought I would use it more, but its just been sitting up there. After getting west nile, I just cant lift things up there so its going to a new owner who hopefully can get some use out of it.

 

Finally added a bed rack! ‘Twas a steal

Not that I'm aware of. You need to use the 4" noddle size, I think the 6" is too big.

 

Best mod to date! Paid it off a year early!!

Paid off the 4” pool noodle? Lol. Congrats on the freedom from payments brother.

 

Yeah the 48 month financing of the pool noodle payment was killing me!!

 

Ya, especially with those interest rates on pool noodles these days!!
