It will clunk but rarely. It also does it when holding the tire and shaking the truck back & forth

Genuinely I don’t know. Wouldn’t the shop be able to tell when they looked over everything? Or is that something I’d have to look at myself?

Can you rock the CV axle back and forth by hand to see if there's any play?

Did the shop try to replicate the sound with truck on their lift with wheels off the ground (and in 4WD to spin the front)? That would tell if noise is coming from the drive train.

I’ll have to check it out in the morning & see if there is any play!

I doubt that they did honestly. I’ll have to take it to another shop & have them test that out. Thank you!

R U saying if you hold the top of the tire and rock it towards and away from the truck you can hear a clunk? Is there any movement and if so how much does top of tire move?

    Yep.

Can you jack it up and spin/rock the tires and recreate the noise? Would be super easy to figure this out if you can do it in the driveway.

My bet is on the needle bearing. Put the truck in 4wd and see if it goes away. If it does, you need to replace the needle bearing with the ECGS bushing.

Check the torque on the lca bushings and the mounting bolt for the uca. I have a similiar issue with my spc uca's. The x axis bushing failed really qick and it would cause a clunk under any shift of momentum or flex. Swore it was the sway bar for a long time till I popped it off.

If you have a chance, take a few pics of your UCA’s and the bushings (how they are mounted), if the front shocks/coilovers were preassembled, they should be ok. As others have mentioned, check the CV’s also.

It's a possibility, and it takes 5 seconds to test, so it's worth a shot. Obviously it's on the driver's side, but noises can be difficult to pinpoint, especially under the truck. Might as well rule out the most common issue after lifts since it started after a lift, and it costs literally no money to diagnose. Worse case scenario, a quick test in 4wd and it still makes the noise, you can rule out the needle bearing.

But what do I know, apparently that simple diagnostic step is "not even close," where to me, it seems silly not to test it.
