That’s the rad support, plan on painting it black so it cleans up the front end a little.

    So far, so good.

I replaced the boots right before King of the Hammers—so they survived a good amount of romping around Johnson Valley, as well as a few other short wheeling trips, and about 1,000 miles of street/highway driving in total.

I don't own the correct tool to put the style of bands on that the kit came with. Instead, I used some needle nose locking pliers and some elbow grease to get them into place. It wasn't super easy, but I'm confident they are secure. Afterwards I used some punches/pins with a hammer to really crease the bends and tabs on the bands to help reduce any chance of them slipping out (which you can kind of see on the leftmost band in the first pic). I cut off the excess with diagonal cutters.

No signs of them popping off or losing any grease yet. If they do pop off, I'm going to buy some of the other style bands that use CV band/clamp pliers to tension (because I already have that tool ;)).

OffRoam emailed tonight that the phone mount for early Gen2 Tacoma is back in stock, so ordered one an hour after the email.
Ordered a set of Clazzio front seat covers, Logan texted for me to confirm whether the front sport seats have pockets, I went to the garage to confirm (That's a no pockets.) and folded the passenger seat flat, likely the first time it's ever been done. Oops! Logan and I caught that before the order went out their door so I'm getting the dark grey front seat covers (passenger fold flat seat), which will match the upper interior trim. Cool! (Yesterday, I examined five makers of seat covers, posted their links in another thread, and... Thanks, I spent more money on the Tacoma DLT!)
