    Used to really enjoy PT and Dave... but lately they have turned in to complete and total sell outs.... I know it's part of the "business" but they used to not be about that. Now they do "in video commercials" that have absolutely nothing to do with anything they are about.

    I miss the old "chicken coupe" days of Speed Academy...

    They make some for the e36. I've seen them on rb26 but I was gonna run OEM vr38 coils. Imo that'll be way too with the 1gr pending two things one is the stock length and the other is the harness and pin out.

    Worn down dremel contact vs new. New fpr in with gauge has provided us with some new data. So more analysis will be needed.

    @JustDSM , how high can the idle rpm be set to on an auto, (while say in Drive with the foot on a brake at a light) before there are issues?

    For those interested in the AEM fuel pressure gauge above, the wiring harness was a breeze to route and wire in. The location for the gauge however, was at the very limit of wire harness' length. When routed through the driver side firewall grommet. As in there was barely enough slack to plug into the gauge, without the gauge being mounted first. Adding wire to the harness would have lengthened everything (to make it easier), except daylight.

    The URD fuel pressure adapter is an excellent modification. Great for adding a sensor for troubleshooting or general data acquisition. If you have a TRD style s/c, however, the area by the bolt hole nearest the s/c will need to be filed/sanded down. There just isn't enough clearance. I unfortunately didn't get a photo of that change. It is well known that it must be done.

    I've not really played around with how far it can go. I have raised/lowered things a few hundred RPM based on needs of the client but am not sure what you could get away with. What are you trying to achieve?

    There is a load based issue that I know you guys have been trying to track down. An intermittent bugger. The gauge proved that the fuel pressure is staying steady. Fuel pump is good.

    At low load and rpm, occasionally truck is stumbling, and the timing is oscillating from around 9° to 15°. Give it a little throttle with load, and it instantly clears up. Something is causing the timing to fluctuate. Something is also causing the random misfires. At this point, we are thinking it is simply this batch of FIC injectors is the root cause. However, a few hundred increase in idle RPM, as long as it doesn't affect the torque converter, may clear the issue. Rather than a more expensive approach of new injectors.

    That may be a swappable item, and worthy upgrade. All OEM parts won't come cheaply, but the fit and e-brake function would be flawless.
