Have you read Larry's Grimnoir Chronicles or Saga of the Forgotten Warrior series?

I guess Alpha is my favorite, although Nemesis and the Memoirs are good too.

Read the first of the Grimnoir series, it was okay.

Alpha is probably mine, as well.

Forgotten Warrior is really good. Give it a shot if you have the chance.

Try out He Who Fights With Monsters for Fantasy with laughs and character building. Link at the bottom of the thread.

I've burned through a ton of books recently. I read both currently released books of Tez Cajiao's Arise series, Book 17 of Kirill Klevanski's Dragon Heart and the 3rd book of R. A. Mejia's Mechanical Crafter.

Waiting for book 9 of He Who Fight's With Monsters to release in April.
Book 18 of Dragon Heart also comes out in April.
Also waiting for book 11 of the Awaken Online series by Travis Bagwell, TBD.
Tez says a couple more books from the Arise series to come out this year.

Guess I'll start the Defiance of the Fall series by JF Brink.

At $14.90 per book that money is better put to my school taxes which are well over 1/3 my yearly income!.

I do thank You for the reference.

No new books now for almost 3 years.

I have been hooked on a series of murder mysteries by Paul Doiron. They are about a Maine Game Warden. Start with "The Poacher's Son" and go from there. Good stuff!

Just finished up Killers of A Certain Age- 10/10 imo. Very fun read!

Thrillers I thought were great that I read recently include Sometimes I Lie and His & Hers. Same author. Twists are GREAT

Really like Jim Harrison works, kinda outdoorsy, hunting/fishing. He has a reoccurring character Brown Dog, pretty good reads. There is some murder mystery in his work as well.

Nice it’s great to see people still reading books. This seems like odd examples but it’s what I’m reading now and I prefer nonfiction. Like old Joe used to say “Just the facts Ma’am” the story about the pilot is indeed true I worked for that company for 32 years as a mechanic. The iceberg slim story is well known and true but probably embellished a bit. Maybe it’s possible to get some factual information while at the same time be entertaining.

    No library in PA?

I picked up a collection of Stephen King shorts becasue Stephen King, and about 1000 pages. Got lucky I picked that up on a Friday, because on the following Monday the wife tested positive for La Rona, and now I have about 200 pages left. Might need to venture out and pick up a new selection tomorrow, the sun could be out this weekend.

I like mainly Sci-Fi/Fantasy, but a good murder mystery or horror works too. Something to distract my racing mind at 0218 in the morning when I should be sleeping.

Before SK, I had accidentally gone back and re-bought Liu Cixin series. Wish I could put my hands on more of his translated work.

Have you ever tried reading E books? You can borrow online through the libby app and it can link to your phone so you can borrow books and read them without going to the physical library
