I agree with your entire list except for wheel spacers. I've got some Spidertraxx spacers (1.25") that help reduce rub/wear on my stock UCA's. I personally love them and they have performed well over the years. I've been off road on numerous occasions with them and they haven't let me down. I wouldn't go bigger than 1.25" though. Again, you hit the nail on the head with the rest of the list!

I've loved the hell out of these comments on this thread. A lot I agree with, and some, I'm like, "well, to each his own." So I'm gonna go ahead and out myself:
    - I did purchase a gashole a few years ago. I was already hooking the cable like it was intended, but I also felt like I grabbed it too quickly or rough and thought I'd yank the cord away from the cap. The gashole was just convenient. I can't really ding anyone for this one though. Hear me out - you can't see it. If you had 10 Tacos lined up and half of them had the gashole, you wouldn't be able to pick them out. Well, maybe the guy with the raptor lights.
    - I didn't de-chrome, but if I ever do, I can't fault that one either. I specifically chose the Sport for a few reasons, but one was that I hate the chrome bumpers on the OR edition (sorry OR guys). In fact, had I gotten an OR TRD, I probably would've painted the chrome with something like Rhino liner paint - but I digress. I like the red and black of my Taco. So, if I wanted to continue that theme, the interior chrome will probably be the first to go.
    - I ditched the stock stereo unit and replaced it with a head unit. I don't regret that one bit. I know guys like to keep things OG and keep stock everything, but the head units in the Tacos prior to the latest edition just didn't do it for me. I couldn't use Android Auto. And I like the look of my head unit that I bought from a Chinese company off of Amazon. I'll die on that mod hill.
    - I lifted/leveled my Taco. I wanted more clearance, but sorry, I personally like the leveled look. And even though I mainly do highway traveling, I bought all terrain tires because I prefer the look.
    - I haven't done it yet, but I will most likely purchase a matte anti-glare vinyl sheet for the hood scoop. If you own a Sport, you know how retina burning the sun can be when it reflects off that piece. And yes, I have my eye on a subtle topo themed one. Again, because *I* think it looks cool. Buying from here in case anyone is interested or wants a good view of what you're making fun of me for. LOL
    - I'm a Star Wars/Transformers/anything SciFi nerd. So I actually thought the Storm Trooper edition Tacos were a real thing and not something made up. Regardless, I think it's cool - because I like it. So, I have plans in the future to add strategically placed graphics to my red Taco to give it a Red Storm Trooper look. Why? Because I can.

Everything else, I agree with. I think there's a fine line between "eye rolling ridiculously unnecessary" and personal touches. Not that I feel the need to defend my mods that others might disagree with. But I do agree a lot are mods owners think they *have* to do in order to make it look more like a truck. Raptor lights, cold air intake, etc. Things I have done are not because that's what trendy truck owners do, things I modded are things I personally wanted to do.

But yeah, Just Say No to Raptor lights.

All this classy chrome you speak of is just cheap plastic as well, which to me looks the opposite of classy, looks fake to me (because it is!)

Every time this thread resurfaces it gets more and more ridiculous…

I say anyone who paid for an OFF road and drives it ON roads is a poser and should be made to fill every opening in their aftermarket heritage grille with raptor lights

anyone who tints their windows is an annoying sissy. I mean, be a man and burn to a crisp like your forefathers and the rest of us in the summer, inside the fishbowl that is our interior. Especially those who have a "sun roof" They are the epitome of hypocrites.

I don't give a shit what any of y'all do to your trucks, let alone be annoyed by it.
I rather enjoy seeing all the different takes and creativity.
Even when it's RIDICULOUS and not for me, I like that YOU like it.
IMO, this community would be no fun if you were all rocking the same thing.

If you want a clown truck, DO IT. Love it.
    Just mod safe.

I have considered getting rid of the chrome on the vents nearest the doors because they cause a distracting reflection in the door windows. This is however far down on a list of things that may one day happen and more than likely I'd just scuff them up and hit them with a sharpie.
