Worked on my replacement down-pipe this weekend. Almost done, just need to weld up the flex, v-band, and add o2 bungs.

here’s a pic of the old one. It was routed too close to the AC lines, so a rebuild was in order

Also relocated my backup camera using an OEM toyota camera and harness. Basically made it where I can unplug the factory camera harness above the bumper and plug the relocate in when I have my spare tire carrier on the back. The frame for my license plate is aluminum, so I build a little bracket out of some flat bar and melted that on. Added a little Toyota FIPG around the camera base since it’s more exposed than in its stock form. So far so good!

Was finally able to order and install Bird Dawg mirror riser. No more ducking to see oncoming traffic at the round about by my house.

Looks so good. I went with the Overland Series front bumper. Had it powder coated in October and have yet to install it.

well... depends on the state, and can be waved if there is a medical reason. i had window tint way darker than needed for years and i would always act so suppressed if i got pulled over. and would pull the paperwork out that said it was done in a different state.

This is probably one of my favorite mods. I once almost hit a car at a 3-way stop sign because I never saw it behind the rear view mirror

Thanks for the welcome! I just bought the truck a couple weeks ago from another TW member. 2012 DCSB painted with Monstaliner in Midnight Special. Ha, the pic also gives you a before on the lower front bumper trim

Just got 5100s all the way around with 885 coils up front and 3 leaf AAL from Headstrong in the rear. Pretty happy with it so far.. the ride is much better than stock

ABS plastic. I buy it by the sheet (4'x8') at a local plastic supplier. Can't remember exactly how much they were, but I wanna say like $18 a sheet.

I had a new 16 Sport and didn't like the ride so within 6 months I swapped all 4 shocks to 5100's with front adjusted to level. That truck rode better than new with Billsteins. Think the 16 had a higher rated stock coil spring, and was new anyway, but those shocks made it ride perfect.

Next step is to recreate this pattern using Reflectix insulation and cover it in material.
